Oxford Casino Names 2015 Team Members of the Year!

OXFORD, Maine (February 3, 2014) Oxford Casino held its 3rd Annual Team Member of the Year Gala in honor of the exemplary employees who had been recognized throughout 2015 for achievement, attitude, willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty, and work ethic. Jack Sours, Vice President and General Manager performed Master of Ceremony duties, and opened the event by saying to all in attendance, “I’ve worked in several casinos, and Oxford Casino’s team is, by far, the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I’m exceptionally grateful to be a part of this team. You make this casino what it is. I thank you for that.”

Two, exceptional team members were named Team Member of the Year at the end of the evening and were each awarded $1,000 in cash, along with one week of paid vacation time and special, reserved parking for 2016. The Hourly Team Member of the Year award was given to Jason Gross, Maintenance Technician, for habitually going beyond the call of duty for many, many team members and departments. Salaried Team Member of the year went to Holly Miele, Human Resources Generalist, also for going above and beyond the call of duty by working long hours to complete difficult tasks.

Sours also recognized each Team Member of the Month for 2015. For being chosen, each of the twelve winners received a check for $250 and the use of a special parking space for the month they were honored. Salaried Team Members of the Quarter each received a check for $250 and a reserved parking spot for three months.

Oxford Casino opened in June, 2012 and underwent two expansions, one in October 2012 and another in December 2013.
