Mini Baccarat
A Fast Paced and Thrilling Card Game
Mini Baccarat – Mini-Baccarat has the same rules as big table baccarat. However, unlike the game at the big table, the dealer turns over all the cards, instead of the players handling the cards, making for a much faster game. The odds are exactly the same as those of the big table, assuming the same number of decks. Featuring: DRAGON BONUS!
PLAYING THE GAME
The object of Mini-Baccarat, or Mini-Bac, is to bet which hand —the banker or the player —will have a value closest to 9. A third option is to bet on a tie between the two hands.
BASIC RULES
Mini-Baccarat is played with eight, standard, fifty-two card decks with all jokers removed. Once all wagers have been placed, the dealer will deal four cards with the first and third card going to the player hand and the second and fourth card going to the banker hand.
CARD VALUES
In Mini-Baccarat, aces count as one, and tens and face cards count as zero. The remaining cards (2-9) are counted at their face value. If a drawn card takes the value of the hand over 9, the new value will be the sum of the cards minus 10. For example, if the starting hand is 2+3 (total of 5) and a 9 is drawn, the new value of the hand is 4 (2+3+9-10).
GAME PLAY
Player Hand
If the bank does not have a natural 8 or 9 and the player’s first two cards equal 0 to 5, the player will always draw a third card.
The player will always stand on a total of 6, 7, 8, or 9.
If the player’s first two cards total 8 or 9, the hand is considered a natural, and neither hand is allowed to draw a card. A winning player bet pays 1:1 (even money).
- Total of first 2 cards
- 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 – Player must draw
- 6 or 7 – Player must stand
- 8 or 9 – Player must stand “Natural”
Ties
If the player’s hand and banker’s hand result in identical totals, the tie bet wins and the player and banker bets push. A winning tie bet pays 8:1.
Banker Hand
If the player’s hand totals 6 or 7, the banker will draw on 0 through 5 and stand on 6 through 9.
If the player’s hand does not have a natural 8 or 9, the banker’s hand will always draw on 0 through 2.
For all other point totals, the banker will observe the following rules:
- When the first two cards in the banker’s hand total:
- 3
- The banker draws when the player’s third card is a: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 or 0
- The banker stands when the player’s third card is a: 8
- 4
- The banker draws when the player’s third card is a: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7
- The banker stands when the player’s third card is a: 1, 8, 9 or 0
- 5
- The banker draws when the player’s third card is a: 4, 5, 6 or 7
- The banker stands when the player’s third card is a: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 or 0
- 6
- The banker draws when the player’s third card is a: 6 or 7

No cards are drawn if either the banker’s hand or the player’s hand has a natural 8 or 9.
A winning banker bet pays 1:1 (even money) minus a 5% commission.
