Ultimate Texas Hold’em®

Features Heads-Up Play Against the Dealer

Ultimate Texas Hold’em® also features the optional Trips bet!

This game gives the player several advantages:

• The earlier the player bets, the higher the bets can be.
• The player doesn’t have to fold until all the community cards are revealed.
• The trips bonus pays odds if the player’s final five-card hand is a three-of-a-kind or better.

Available Progressive bets:

PLAYING THE GAME

The player makes equal bets in the ante and blind circles. The player may also make the trips and progressive bets. Once all bets are down, the player receives two cards.

BET BIG… OR SMALL… OR NOT AT ALL

Players are dealt two cards and they can either check or make a bet 3x to 4x the player’s ante. The dealer then reveals the three-card flop. If the player hasn’t made a play bet, they can check or bet 2x the ante. The dealer then reveals the final two community cards. If the player hasn’t already made a play bet, then they may either fold or bet 1x the ante.

WINNING & LOSING

The dealer then reveals their two hole cards and announces the hand. If the player’s hand beats the dealer’s hand, the play and ante bets win even money. If the dealer’s hand beats the player’s hand, the play, ante, and blind wagers lose. If both hands tie, those bets push. The blind pays if the player’s winning hand is at least a straight and pushes if the player’s winning hand is less than a straight.

DEALER QUALIFYING

The dealer needs a pair to qualify. When the dealer doesn’t qualify, the player’s ante will push and be returned. All other bets placed will receive action.

BLIND BETS

  • The blind bet wins when the player wins with a straight or higher.
  • If the player wins with less than a straight, the blind pushes.
  • If the player’s hand loses to the dealer, the blind bet loses.
  • When the player’s hand ties, the blind bet pushes.
